Where we used to live we had a cat flap and the cat used to bring us in presents. Only problem was she wouldn’t always kill the mice she bought in and they’d end up scuttling about until we caught them again. Mouse traps are useless I found! The mice managed to nibble off the food and not spring the trap. Eventually we caught all the mice and released them into the wild.
Needless to say we don’t have a cat flap any more.
However she meows at the door to be let in. One night we let her in to watch her bend to pick something up which she took and dropped right into her food dish… yes you’ve guessed it was a mouse. Luckily it was dead… although makes you wonder how many she’d bought to the door live and watched run away as she meowed to come in…
