Wednesday 20 April is Own Your Streets Day
We need your help to keep Manchester clean and litter free. After the success of last year’s event, we are once again asking you, the people of Manchester to take ownership of and responsibility for our city’s streets. For this one day, the litter picking and street cleaning staff from the city centre will be employed elsewhere and we challenge you to sign a pledge to support our zero tolerance policy towards littering, or even to join our teams of volunteers to keep the city centre clean and litter free. To sign the pledge or to volunteer, come along to the campaign trailer in Piccadilly Gardens between 8am and 4pm. Free t-shirts and free refreshments will be provided
